SPF - Clark Scope Rib,

Post by rich.tullo on 8/1/2018, 11:29 am

This is a great scope rib because I like the Clark 1 degree angle and it has a factory cut out for a front sight.

This is the new Clark hole spacing and should work with Clark or RRA drilled rails.

Greetings,

If it has a slot for the front sight, it may be the Clark rib for the Gold Cup.

If the underside has a flat cutout it is the Gold Cup model.

Clamping one on a regular rounded slide may cause the rib to buckle.

Cheers,

Dave

Greetings,

I need to clarify my previous comment.

The Gold Cup has a "rib" machined into the top of the slide.

The Clark Gold Cup scope rib has a matching cut the entire length of the rib that locates on the Gold Cup raised rib. It also has a square cutout at the front so you do not have to remove the Gold Cup sight blade.

Last, neither Clark scope ribs nor Bo-Mar iron sight ribs had the "tuner" cutouts for the Gold Cup model.

Cheers,

Dave

That is good to know buy I made a mistake and got this one mix up with a bomar sight rib I had.

The bottom is oval but the top is cut to mount with the from sight attached.
