Aimpoint 7000S

Post by LenV on 8/7/2018, 7:09 pm

I finally have enough of these that I am not bidding on everyone that shows up. The 7000S does not have as much sticking out the back as the 7000SC. But still enough to get a set of rings on. NFI

They don't look like 4 moa. Of course they are Aimpoint so they look round. Don't have a single 4moa in your stable Chris?

Chris, you just make me wish I could still get an Ultradot 4-Dot scope.

16 MOA dot FTW!

Chris is also triggered by the phrase “30 LPI front strap” and “5-shot group”.  Very Happy

Love the 4 dot. Use the 4moa for SF and the 8moa for sustained fire. I never really found a use for the 12 and 16 though. Except on my hand cannon.

The 4 dot is by far my favorite.  I use the 8moa and bigger.

That said, I believe any blame you put on dot size for your shooting good or bad is just an excuse.  Dot size is not a fundamental.
