Swappin' out a trigger

Just took ownership of a Les Baer wadcutter, which is my first I guess custom BE gun, was using a RO. I am wanting to continue to use my Vitarbo grips however that throws off the trigger finger placement. I've changed the trigger in the RO (twice) which worked well over the stock one. With the LB however I am wondering what really all goes into the bows aspect (other than polishing) of the trigger. I can fit the trigger in no problem. I know the best thing is to probably send it in, but if it costs 30+ bucks each way to ship for a $19 (+labor) part that can essentially be done at home, I’d rather do it at home with a LB short trigger. Any experiences with doing this with this brand of trigger and firearm would be appreciated. I know the other option is to not use the grips but they are nice training wheels for now.

I don't see any reason not to do this at home. Really how different can an LB short trigger be? It's a 1911. It will be exactly the same as your RO inside.

I've changed triggers in my 1911's over the years. Greider triggers seem to be a good choice, but there are many other good ones. Generally, the only thing I did was to stone and polish the bows.

Figuring that one gun is hand fitted through an through and the other is only in the slide and barrel. Not sure how the channels compare and if the trigger bows needs to be hammered out on that trigger bow forming block...thingy.
