For some reason in my LB 185GM shoots  Noticeably better than ASYM  At 50 yd  I was expecting JHP to shoot better

The Federal GM 185 is indeed an excellent cartridge...

Best I've done this year, was only 100-4x.  CtC of the outside shots was just about the size of the ten ring.

Not to derail the intent of this thread but does anybody remember maybe about 8 years ago that supposedly the performance of this particular round fell off regarding it's accuracy? Supposedly it had something to do with the color of the box. I.E., the original box color shot well and the newer white box did not.

Local shooter here uses it. He shoots very well with them at 50 yards

What I've read is the Federal white box was basically American Eagle not G.M

Old red box Federal 185 Ransom Target. I’ve only shot blue box from hand and it’s great ammunition.
