Collectors have really screwed this market up. So now it trickles down and everyone thinks their wad gun is made of gold.

He's got a Ruger converted to 32 S&W long too.    There is an active Bullseye shooting community nearby at Wadena, so these might have belonged to a shooter (not collector).

I shot one match at Wadena and they were very friendly.

What I meant by my statement is Gun Broker has caused a huge jump in price. This component will be overpriced not by shooters but by collectors, and so the trickle down begins.

Yeah.  An upper like that..Maybe 400?  Possibly 600...but 800 is just out there.

Are we just gonna ignore the elephant in the room, how insanely cool and unique that Ruger is - regardless of the high price.
It raises a lot of questions...  i’m trying to think how they converted the bolt for a centered firing pin, i assume the extra part hanging off the back is additional weight to handle the increased recoil on the bolt. Anyone recognize where the mags came from?

the price on his midrange ($1100) is not that bad,  I have sold a MKI for a bit more in not as good shape,

if it is truly a Colt MidRange gun, (cannot make out serial number)
