Evening all. I spend about 3 hrs a day in the car. Was wondering if anyone could recommend, and point me in the direction of, some good audio books? I have been listening to...

Inner Game of Tennis (a thousand times)
With Winning in Mind (a hundred times)
Practical Pistol Shooting (Just started)
Zen Archery(Could only do it once. Not my cup of tea.)

Would love  amu marksmanship manual, pistol shooter treasury, bullseye mind, and the likes. Unfortunately, I just don't think audio books for them exist.

Anything on audible or readily available you listened to and recommend?

Ty

If you have a way to play youtube on a device they have some nice audio book on there.  Audible has a few shooting books the best on is by Brain Enos.   I am a audible user have 60 books so far.

I havent found other marksmanship books on Audible, at least ones I'll reference beyond what's been mentioned. But there are a few interesting firearm related listens I've happened over. American Rifle by Alexander Rose is a great, 16 hour listen about arms history in the US from 17th through 20th century. Not about progressing in our sport, but the back drop is nice. The NRA by Frank Smyth was enjoyable too, and celebrates in it's way the NRA's roots in competitions (though author makes clear some opinions that may not be universal). Glock by Paul Barrett was an interesting listen too (the LE sales), even not being much a fan of the brand today.

You listed the main books I was going to recommend.

The only other one that I know of is Golf is Not a Game of Perfect by Bob Rotella.

If you just want books about guns; The guns of John Browning is great on audible.

My main books are on War unfortunately don't do any fiction except for Perry Mason and Sherlock Holmes.

Greetings, I spent a large portion of my working life behind a wheel. I'm quite sure I've listened to well over 200 books. I ran out of familiars quickly. Go to your
local (hopefully ) library. Ours is even helpful with inter library loans if you have a title. If interested in history, Band of Brothers. We were soldiers once and young. ,
anything by Stephen Ambrose, The world is my home , by James Michner. Or anything else of his work. John LeCarre is one of my favorite semi-fiction writers.
I read and enjoyed authors I probably would not have picked up otherwise. No offense but some of your titles sound like a long drive. I stuck with A brief history of time,
by Steven Hawkins, but I'm not sure what I was able to take out of it. Maybe TMI but the only book I could put in and listen to at any point of the book was To kill a
mockingbird. I loved them, couldn't run a trip without one. Not exactly what you were looking for I suppose but .... Heck, The Count of Mountie Crisco alone
will take care of 40 hours of driving. Enjoy your books my friends, be well. Rich

Another vote for this book, which came out late last year. It's "The Guns of John Moses Browning" by Nathan Gorenstein. It's actually more about John Moses than his guns themselves, but it has plenty of both.
