Y'all are in trouble now

Post by Brettitt41 on 11/3/2013, 7:18 pm

Well things went like I was hoping and I now own a Springfield RO. Very Happy I am ready to shoot some 2700's now. I'll take the winter break to learn the pistol and work up some accurate loads for it. I had never shot a 1911 before, I like the fit and it is obviously more accurate than I am. So be looking for me on the line in 2014.

Good for you, enjoy the new toy! If you check out the couple of RO related threads you can profit from my mistakes and maybe save some frustration (mine all operator induced). I am finding it to be a great gun, the recomended spring rates and tweaks make it feel even better. I will never reach high scores or classifications but it will not be the Range Officer's fault!

Great news, the two places to shoot 2700s within resonable driving distance for you are Conyers (south river gun club) the second sunday of the month and riverbend (rbgc.org) the third sunday, others would be chattanooga on the second saturday. if you would like to be added to the email list for these let me know at hwy92gun@bellsouth.net

I made Master with mine and even managed a 99 slow fire with it a few weeks ago using 4.5 Bullseye with Zero 185 JHP.
Hope to see you at Perry next year.
