WTS: Vintage Colt OMS Match Revolver 38spl *SOLD*

Colt Officers Model Special match revolver in very good condition w/ original box and factory target.

These were produced by Colt from 1949 until 1952 as part of the Officers
Model line of target and match revolvers. The OMS sports an elevation
and windage adjustable 'coltmaster' sight and heavy barrel, a target
hammer and two tone bluing. They're relatively rare, especially in this
condition.

The one that I'm selling is in 90%+ condition with some bluing wear at
the high points on the cylinder and tip of the barrel, and little
feckling at the tip of the barrel on the left hand side. The timing and
lockup are perfect. The cylinders and bore are in great condition. I've
tried to capture the relevant areas in my pictures. If there are other
features that you'd like to see, contact me and I'll try to get a good
picture.

I don't think that the grips are original to this revolver. It's my understanding that the OMS used a bakelite Coltwood grip.

Distinguished Revolver shooters will be interested to know that the OMS
is DR legal. I've actually confirmed this with DR match directors who've
inspected the revolver.
