I have a Model 25-2 of 1988 and a Model 625 with 5" barrel.  Reloading suggestions for 50 yd and 25 yd will be appreciated.  I currently use N310 powder and Zero 185gr JHP in my 1911 and I am looking for some revolver recipes to start with. Thank you.

3.8 gr of bullseye behind a 200 gr L-SWC. You don't need jacketed bullets for the gun to shoot great groups. My 25-2 will shoot master scores with that load. Might even shoot HM scores (with another shooter).

I loaded rimmed cases with 4.8 Bullseye and 200 JSWC in my 1955 Model and got real nice groups.   S&W Model 25-2/Model 625 2935285009

Just in case you are looking for a lighter bullet, I load a 185gr LSWC over 4.1 gr of Bullseye powder and they work great for both long and short lines.

Both my 625s thrive on the 200 LSWC/3.8 Bullseye load.
Never found anything better.

I'll throw my loads into the hat here: 4.5gr W231 under a 200gr cast LSWC bullet (Missouri Bullet Co.) for the long line, 4.5gr W231 under a 185gr cast LSWC bullet (also Missouri Bullet Co.) for the short line. No need to readjust my sights between long and short.
