Still working on shot process, but I'm getting better.  Not much experience at 50 yards yet.

That are terrific scores!  I've been shooting for 3 months and my 22 scores are only in the mid 260s.

Some intense instruction helped me.  I understand much better the why behind what good bullseye shooters do regarding stance, grip, and breathing, for example.  I'm not sure how long it will take for me to do as well with the centerfire gun, but I'm working on it.  I'm still using the CZ P-09 9mm plastic gun in centerfire.

I got a lot of good help from forum members here earlier this year when I started shooting bullseye, and I appreciate it.

Sounds like you're applying what you learned.  The clinic is well worth everyl penny!
That's a very good slow fire target.  Once you start cleaning T&R targets making Master is right around the corner.

Well, the clinic helped me a bunch.  I've had problems duplicating practice scores during the match.  Last Saturday we had a monthly club match and I won the rimfire match with an 823-15x (91%) and I had only one "bad" target, an 80 on the first slow fire 50 yard target.  After that, I was relaxed and executed well.  After the excellent, for me, rimfire match, I could not get in to the groove in centerfire, I (unintentionally) tightened my grip, changed point of impact, forced shots, did everything wrong that I usually do well.  Finished fourth in centerfire, second overall, and was surprised I did that well.  Apparently, everyone was a little tired going in to the centerfire match, not just me. 

Anyway, good results for a one season shooter, and I'll be better for the next match.

Shooting a 9mm is difficult.  A CZ, even more so.  Sad but the search for a really accurate pistol stopped in 1911.  If someone made better, people would be shooting them.  With that said.  Start your hunt now for an accurate 1911.  Don't buy it from a gun shop.  $2000 ++ Wilson Combat or Les Baer will not shoot much better than a stock Springfield range officer.  What you want is a used bullseye gun.  Let it be known at matches that you are interested in buying a used accurized 1911.  Get one that comes with a test target or one that you can pump a couple hundred rounds through before purchase.  Make that gun "your gun" and know it like you know your own hand.  How the grip fits your palm.  Where your finger passes the trigger.  Know when you need to do a complete cleaning because the trigger has some grit in it.  I recommend staying with slab side grips.  Depending on your hand size, you can try flat or arched main spring housings.  Long, medium, or short trigger.  I highly recommend a good quality roll trigger.  That is going to be difficult unless you have a bullseye gunsmith nearby.  I recommend setting the weight at 4lb.  Even when you are allowed down to 3.5 that way it always passes.  There are many things you have to learn in this sport.  Proper consistent quality reloaded ammo is one of them.  Be thankful that you can purchase quality bullets at reasonable prices.  In days of old accurate shooters also had to cast their own bullets as well as reload.  This sport is a process.  A clinic can get you a big jump up on scores so you did well there.  After that it is a process that must be chomped on one bite at a time.
