There are very few "bad" choices you can make for 50'. I would avoid anything made by Berrys or Raineer in a HP. The loads I would choose for 50' (not in any order of preference) would be the Magnus 130gr L-SWC with 4.2 BE or 5.1gr of Power Pistol. You have to order those from Magnus sized to .355. They are listed under 38/357. Another choice would be the Penn 115gr L-SWC loaded with 5.9 gr PP. I only listed lead bullets because they are great for 50', less expensive and a lot of 50' ranges don't allow jacketed bullets.

My .38 Supers all prefer 0.356-0.357" jacketed bullets and 0.357-0.358" cast bullets, but guns can be very different.
Best bullet I have found is the Zero 121gn .38 Super JHP for accuracy.
Have never loaded super-soft loads for .38 Super, but 4.7-5.3gn of AA2 works well. Somewhere around 4.3gn of Solo 1000 is worth trying. 3.8-4.2gn of TiteGroup may be good.
