WTB: Lou Lombardi (Falcon Machining) Model 41 bullseye barrel

Post by TargetShooter27 on 5/17/2015, 6:05 pm

WTB: Lou Lombardi (Falcon Machining) Model 41 bullseye barrel.  The style I'm looking for appears to be approximately 5-1/2 - 6" long with integrated full length rail.  Let me know if you have one you'll sell and your price.

Thanks

If you are unsuccessful in finding a Lombardi barrel, Clark Custom Guns sells a similar barrel.

IMHO, the Clark barrels are not in the same class as one of Lou Lombardi's, not even close.

Yes I'm well aware of how nice the Lou Lombardi barrels are , and I guess that is why nobody wants to sell one. Hopefully someday I will find one, thanks to all who have replied.

second on not buying a Clark, the quality went south when Jim sr died as did all there bullseye stuff now that Jim jr has also passed I would not consider Clark a good source for much of anything. just my personal opinion based on products ive actually had my hands on.

I tend to agree.  Jim, Jr did build me a good wad gun some years back and I always enjoyed talking with him at Perry, but his, and the shop's interests seem to go more toward rifles, especially the AR platform in recent years.

They followed where the money was going and that was action pistol.  Since the accuracy demands are less in action pistol they really never kept innovating like when bullseye was king.
