Bunker Arms

Has anyone had any experience with Bunker Arms, located in Ellenton, FL? I need some trigger work done, they're close by, and shipping is getting ridiculous. Thx.

Not the answer you were looking for, just my experience going the same route and regretting it.  It looks like Bunker Arms does fine work, if it was me I would try out a 1911 with a trigger job before handing it over.  But I agree shipping is getting so expensive it's mind blowing.

Are you saying that Bunker did your triggers and you weren't happy?

Bunker Arms does some really fantastic work, and does really fantastic bullseye guns.

I wouldn't hesitate to use him....especially if he is close enough that you wouldn't need to ship.

No,  not at all, my post wasn't written well.  What I am saying, is that unless you know the gunsmith or he does bullseye work, you may not be as pleased as you would sending it to someone who does that as a specialty.  After Springfield Custom, I took my RO to a well known revolver guy, his 1911 work was good, but wasn't as good as a Gunsmith who focused on BE pistols.  I ended up sending it to a BE gunsmith to make it right.

Brandon is great I sent him a Springfield that developed a hammer follow. I had two smiths work on the gun, I then changed the parts my self and there were still problems with new parts, Sent it to Brandon and identified the problem the frame was drilled wrong.

He changed the sear angle and fixed the gun 100%. The trigger was perfect not just function but perfect. Zero Creep 3.75 LBS on the button every pull.

He is the kind of guy that will not cut corners.
