I can't help with those powders but heavy bullets don't equal nice soft load.

For a soft load, I would go down to 185 or even 165 either of which you can get to group very well at 25 yd. I shoot 185g with 4.0 bullseye behind it at 25yd. I was shooting as low as 3.7 but the group tightens up with 4.0.

For hardball, I am shooting 230g with 3.8 BE behind it to get the recoil down.

Soft accurate load, 160 grain w/4.5 grains of Bullseye, clays or V-n-310.

If you mean which of the ones you mentioned in your first post - the 200gr SWC. If you mean which 185gr SWC mentioned in the previous post it doesn't matter. Any one will shoot fine at 25 yards. Most of the commercial casters have a 185gr SWC in their lineup and most are shaped like the H&G 68 - easier for you to Google that than for me to explain it. Load them over 3.5gr of your clays and go shoot. Seat them till about 1/32" of shoulder is showing past the case mouth, about .930 from the back of the case to the shoulder. With your barrel OUT of the gun make sure this length lets the loaded round sit slightly below the hood. Good luck - Dan

3.5gr of Clays? I may have to try that as I set up my new Lee 1000 Pro. I was trying to get down to 3.7 with my Dillon but it did not meter well and loads were 3.4 - 4gr!
