I have always done it and was wondering if there any accuracy advantages to not debrurring?

On my long range guns, yes, there's a lot of brass prep.  On the 45's, never.  Anything on the inside would be taken care of by the belling station.  To be honest I've never really closely examined the outside.  I'd like to think I would have noticed anything out of the ordinary, but I can't recall ever having to address the issue.

I don't know if it will make a difference in the end result for me.  Anything out of the x (or at the worst-the 10) is not the fault of the ammo or the pistol, but can be laid firmly on the user.

Anything that makes each round more consistent cant hurt, but many tests have been done that said in a 45 at 50 yards it didn't really matter.

Until I'm shooting like a machine rest I feel that time on the line is more important than time on the bench.

+1 on this, I won't get anal on my loads until I make Master, and then it will only be my long line loads.  A High Master, trying to drive a point home, once told me you could shoot the X ring out at 25 yards using lubed rocks. Smile

Shooting rocks at 25 might work indeed.  I ran into a 1000 or so rejects from a caster who was quitting business.  Typical 185 gr LSWC that did not fill their bases to a sharp edge.  Some bases had an edge less than half way around the diameter.  I was going to give them to Roddy for melt.  But I shot a few at TF practice.  They held the 10 ring.  Even the worst of the bases.  They did take up the whole 10 ring.  But usually, I do too (or worse).  Smile

Why do so many confuse benchrest tricks (generally unproven, justified simply because "it couldn't hurt") with shooting a handgun with one arm?
However, for this particular question, I believe that all cases should be LIGHTLY chamfered inside and out once, just to eliminate burrs--so, go ahead. Not that you HAVE to, just that I prefer to. That said, I haven't done so with most of my .45 Auto cases just 'cause I'm lazy and it hasn't had any effect on accuracy (and I have too many cases to perform meaningless case prep).
I found in the '70s, after about a year of casting bullets, that the ONLY important thing about the bullet for accuracy out to 50 yards was that the base was completely filled out. Wrinkles and weight variations had no effect. It was also around then that I found that NOT sizing my bullets gave me slightly better accuracy, so I started pan lubing.
Testing is very important.

Loading 32 S&W Long wadcutters has shown me just how much we take for granted the fact that 45 auto is extremely easy to load accurate rounds. Don't overthink the 45's, just load 'em and shoot 'em.

The only pistol case I am anal about is the Remington .38 specials I use in my M52-1.
I only do this routine once after firing out of the M52 new brass or brass that I have collected from someone else.
I trim my cases to my spec, inside mouth chamfer and inside primer pocket chamfer.

.45's I just clean and reload.
