Do any of the Ultradots have clicks?

Mine was bought used on Ebay, it's the original 1inch tube model.   Adjustments are friction and the "scale" ring keeps falling out of the windage adjustment.  Do the newer models have clicks?

Yes, the newer models do have click detents.  The older ones also had a flimsier set of detent tabs on the underside of the brightness knob.  I have had some of those disintegrate.  The scale rings were friction fit on purpose.  They were made that way so that you could adjust the 0 after you mount the scope and find your zero.  Once you set the zero, you can apply an adhesive under the ring.  That should keep it secure.

only the very old ultradots were non click, id say yours is a good 15 years old, as everyone I have bought since 2001 were click adjustable.

My first lacks clicks (purchased on a Benelli Atlanta MP-95 22). My wad gun has a dot from 1998 that has clicks. My Matchdot, obviously has clicks.

If the windage and elevation covers are flat on top, then this is an older model without click adjustments. If it has domed shaped covers then it had click adjustments.

To Ultradot's credit, this old unit works perfectly.  In the future I may upgrade to a Matchdot and keep this one as a reserve or put it on an AR.

The ultradots without clicks can be more accurate. When 1 full mark is to much you can move it 1/2 of a mark or 1/4 etc etc. Not much use in pistol but kinda nice for rifle.
