I got the square one, not the round one, in the mail yesterday, and took it to the range today.

ITM Brass Catcher

It works.  It is worth about what you pay for it, IMO.  Plastic PVC frame.  The "T" at the bottom folds down so it will stand by itself, or it will mount on a tripod.  Used it both ways today.  Don't know how long the thread will last.  It'll work for my purposes.

I know it is pricey, but I purchased two cheaper brass catchers before I got this one.  Worth every penny.

Well I finally just ordered a CMM catcher, I got the 20" stem version, I think the 16" would have worked but I'd be using it at the higher extension more than not so I think the 20" Will be more stable. I can't wait, I've been doing the brass pick up game for a year now and will love just grabbing it out of a net.

Hey zanemosley, you don't even have to dig them out of the CMM.  There is a drawstring closure and you can just dump them out the bottom!  Smile

On my CMM I use a chip clip on the bottom.

I think the CMM is fantastic. with the bracket mounted to the back of my box I can carry everything to the line in one trip. I recommend the 20". I originally got the 16" but there's one outdoor match that has low benches and I had brass going everywhere. Plus I found the 16" very unstable when fully extended if windy.

Got my 20" CMM catcher today and its better than expected. In the picture it looks a bit thin and possibly flimsy, it's far from flimsy. The base is very thick and sturdy. The rods are stiff and the height adjustment is very well executed. The net is equally nice and the drawstring emptying hole will definitely come in handy. There might be some jealous shooters on the line at my next match, I'm jealous of their ability at least they can be jealous of my brass catcher lol.
