Looking for a range officer thumb safety, unless someone knows if someone other than Springfield makes this part.

All thumb safeties are usable for all 1911 clones. Just have to make sure it functions correctly.

I'm starting to like the extend kind it keeps the thumb safety from touching my lefty trigger finger.   Guessing a egw might be cloese.

In my experience the extended thumb safeties are lower and have more to rub with. Whenever I grip left handed on the ppc pistols I build I get severe rub/pressure. I end up radiusing and polishing to make more comfortable.

A lefty friend put in an ambi safety and basically ground the left side almost flat.  He really liked it except when it came time to take the pistol down, it was much harder without something to grab onto when removing the left side safety.
