Walter GSP worth it? Held one recently and felt nice. Didn't shoot it though. Can anyone give good and or bad insight on one?

I've shot a .22 LR and a .32 GSP for close to 25 years: won lots of stuff, set some records, shot a lot of small groups, put some big numbers on the board. They're good guns.

Like any other gun, depends on the fit to the shooter. YMMV.

I've shot a lot of different .22/.32 guns: Pardini, Benelli, and GSPs. The Pardini .32 I owned had the sweetest trigger but the dang thing was an alibi machine so I sold it. The Benelli .22 I owned was nice, but it started doubling so I sold it. The Benelli .32 I owned started falling apart with the stouter .32 loads I was using on the long line, so I sold it, too. I still have my GSP .22, my GSP .32, and my GSP Expert .32. They're build like tanks and have been WAY more reliable for me than most any other guns I've ever owned.

How much do you think a good used GSP 22 would cost me?

I've seen them run between 600 and 1200 on Gunbroker depending on age, condition, accessories, etc. My GSP .22 is one of the older models with a single-stage trigger. These can usually be found for less $$ than the Expert models, in my experience.

Have been shooting a GSP expert for 5 years with only one alibi, and that turned out to be a dud round.

Make that 2. The other was a fail to feed from CCI SV wax build up, one extremely cold match.
