2016 Sectional Results

Congratulations to John Bickar, 3rd place High Master and 7th place overall. The Flemings (pretty much all of them) did well. Rvlvrlvr did well too. That's about all of the names that I recognized in the first look.

On a different note, who the heck is the marksman, Richard McCarthy, who shot a 572 free pistol score? 
That one has me a little suspicious?

Don't know him. I do know that James Moorman is 6ftunder here. Congratulations.

Indoor 50ft free pistol national record is 567, Don Hamilton in 1986. Don was an Olympian. This 572 would be a new national record. That's a very difficult course of fire; tiny little 10 ring, indoor lighting, and its FREE!
I hate to be a doubting Thomas, but most marksman cannot break 500 let alone 572. 
Any info on shooter would be great.

More than just mathematical errors. Teams listed in questionable classifications other than what they registered and competed in. 

Just because the top team shot a 3291 out of 1200 doesn't mean that there's anything questionable going on. 

I'm sure they will get it corrected.

I emailed the Pistol Department and they are aware of the issue and in the process of correcting it.

I contacted the NRA about this and they confirmed the score card sent in had a 572 on it.  She is going to contact the club that sent in the scores and ask about it.  Based on the other scores he shot (535 in Air and I do not remember the other scores but were in line with his class) I am sure his score should be 472.

It would also be a senior record if it were indeed real.

Jack Adams is a previous national sectional winner who has been out of the game tell recently. He shot the match at the  Cincinnati revolver club. Yes, he is another Ohio shooter and nice guy. 
Jack was also a member of ORPA team this year at nationals.
Congrats to both Jack and James for there podium finishes!

Would be nice if they went back to the mailed results in a booklet.

Very happy with my scores this yr, took it more serious and practiced more esp for standard.

4th Award/5th in class , 12th overall in Conv and 4th in class 11th overall in Standard Pistol.
