Tasco ProPoint Empty Tasco ProPoint

In my collection of stuff, I discovered an old used ProPoint. It seems to be just a 5 MOA red dot. My question is what do (or should) I put it on? are they robust enough for a 45 or should I just use it on a 22?

I had one slide mounted on a 45 wadgun.  It fell apart.

If it's one of the made in Japan ones, you're probably good to go. If it's one of the newer made in Taiwan (or anywhere but Japan), don't expect it to hold zero or last.
