Millett red dot

Post by LenV on 10/23/2016, 11:55 am

Saw this today on Midway. Would be hard to beat the price. Just get a different set of rings and you have a nice budget red dot. This is just an FYI. I have no financial interest.

Ordered...we'll see what they're like.  Think they'll handle 45 recoil?

I have 2 of them. One on a 22/45 and the other on a K frame (14). Both are older scopes and work where I have them. Never put any on a .45.

Had one on a Ruger Mk II. Would not hold zero.

Too good of a deal to pass up. I picked one up and I see they still have them. I plan on putting it on a Ruger 22/45. This is the same SP they are selling for 50 something with lower rings. I probably would have let it pass but there is free shipping on the scope AND if you buy bullets at the same time they ship free also. That's why it was too good of a deal to pass up. NFI

I like how they list parallax as a feature...

I used an older Millet for a while on a .45.  It came to me broken and I fixed it, but it didn't last more than a season.  Of course, I have no idea how old it was when it first failed.  I ended up swapping it with an Ultradot.  You're right on not being able to beat that price for this new one, though.
