Speer or Blazer SPP brass

If you had to choose, which one.  Speer or Blazer.  I only use small primers because I'm lazy and don't want to change the primer system on the Dillon 650. 

Looking to stock up a bit.  Found 1000 for 50 bucks

You probably don't have to mark your brass either cause ain't no one picking that up.

Speer and Blazer have the same parent company. I don't have any information one way or another, but it may come from the same plant? Did anybody compare?

Buy them both.


Good for starting out until you get the fundamentals down.

Speer, CCI/Blazer, and Federal are all part of ATK, so I'm guessing they're all the same in the small primer version.

Does this imply that all 3 are identical excepting head stamp?

Who the heck knows for sure.  But, modern manufacturing planning would indicate that some batches would be made wherever a machine is available.   So Federal may make Speer cases and vice versa.  Or not.

Got the Speer..Should keep me set for practice reloads for a bit

do the SPP shoot as good as the LPP in 45 acp ?
