Pardini Bullseye with an H1 Aimpoint? Empty Pardini Bullseye with an H1 Aimpoint?

Post by dronning Sat Feb 04, 2017 12:10 pm

Has anyone mounted an Aimpoint H1 or H2 on a Pardini SP bullseye 22?

What does it take, or does it just bolt right on?

I had spoken with the owner of Pardini about this last year. He said that they can mill the aimpoint mount to fit the "rail" on the Pardini.

They are basically taking the mount and machining down the base. Sharpening the 45 degree bottom to fit Pardini. You'll need to mount all the way to rear because it will slide.

That means somebody that is extra talented will have to steal Jerry's concept :-)

Chris, did Jerry do it on your gun?  I know Jerry isn't taking any work in so could you elaborate?  Pictures?  I have a couple of H1 bases that were replaced with Kodiaks I could use to experiment with.  I still haven't bought the Pardini yet, just want to get my ducks in a row before I do.

Pardini machined the Aimpoint base.  On my second try, everything held and the mount and scope seem firmly in place.  The Aimpoint mounting instructions are specific about tightening the four screws that mate the mount and scope.  For the mount to the "rail", you can't be timid with the one mounting bolt.  My typical 18 in/lbs I use for rings did not hold.  Once re-torqued, I used a marker to show the exact location of the mount so I can easily see if it starts to migrate.

I'm still wishing for an Aimpoint mount that would reside in the space where the stock rear sight mounts.

Jerry has written about how he did it. I think he only did one that way, but I may be wrong.

It seems to me that one could mount the rail to the barrel in the style of Larrys mount and then machine the H1 to fit the rail as closely as possible.

Dave,

When ordering your new Pardini, don't forget to include the 32 conversion!

For now I'm sticking with the 45 until KC builds my 38 Super.  It is tempting though! Smile
