WTB Hardball Gun

Post by 96wa6 on Mon Feb 27, 2017 6:53 am

Looking for a blued, purpose-built 1911 Hardball gun (in .45 obviously). Prefer older 'smithed versions but will consider any well-made piece.

When I say "purpose-built," I mean Hardball guns made by a BE 'smith specifically for hardball, not off-the-shelf production guns with better sights and a trigger job (I have lots of those).

Condition/aesthetics not important; group size is.

Hey, thanks for replying!

Questions:

1911?
What brand frame & Slide?
Blue?
.45 ACP?
Front strap checkered or stippled?
Condition sounds like pretty newish ... right?

Pictures would be good, with a price.

Its a Foster frame & a Caspian slide, with Kart barrel & bushing. The front strap is checkered, 45acp, I have shot maybe 200-300 round through it.
I am asking $1650 shipped from my FFL to your FFL.

Looks very nice and I'm interested. Did Greg include a test target with it? By the way, I'm an FFL so that makes it a little easier.
