Sig Sauer red dot

Post by LenV on Sat Mar 04, 2017 11:56 pm

Does anyone have any feed back about the Romeo4 or Romeo5? They look like a Aimpoint clone kinda but better then most of the clones. They have some nice features and prices are all over the place. Thanks

Couple months ago I shot next to a guy with one. Looked pretty nice. Dot was round! He was happy with it.

That's the AR mount. They make a weaver/picatinny.

What Jon said. They come with a high and a low mount.

Do you know where these are made?

Not that it makes any difference but I was shocked to find out that the Sig 38 Super barrels are made in Korea.

Best answer I could find. Designed in Oregon and made in China. With Holosun parts and specs. Also has upgraded hardware. Also found this on Sig Sauer site.

"SIG SAUER Electro-Optics are guaranteed forever. It’s an unlimited lifetime guarantee. No warranty card or receipt required. No time limit. No charge"

I have had for quite a long time a Sig dot, STS-081.  It works good on 22s.  Never had it mounted on a 45, so I don't know if it will stand up to that.  It has no tube extensions so that makes it semi-useless.

Most Holosun sights come with a lower 1/3 co witness mount for an AR and a standard weaver/pic mount.

Will see how both my Holosuns stand up to .38 and .45 recoil.

To be continued...
