Tim:  I'm OCD but not that OCD. I have a bin full of hammers, sears and mainsprings. I have the hammers in little baggies with the sear that was made to match it. I did not mark the little bag to reflect what pistol it came out of. I have an extra hammer. Springfield???

Thanks! If you're willing to snap a couple of pictures of them and email them to me I'll know if it's a Springfield hammer/sear. Or at very least if I'm interested in using them. Thanks.

Hello Tim:H11,

It is certainly none of my business but if you are going to actually "use" this hammer in a Bullseye pistol (as oppose to practicing a gunsmithing task on it), I would not recommend a Springfield Armory part.  They are made of MIM and you will have a hard time (some would say impossible) in getting a Bullseye quality trigger pull or one that will hold it very long.

My two cents and worth about that.  Good luck either way.

Possible. But it ought to hold long enough for me to afford two KC kits.
