SOLD--WTS/WTT: Nelson-built lower for conversion

Post by JoeW on Mon Jun 19, 2017 9:30 pm

I'm selling the lower for my Nelson conversion because I just bought an Accuracy X lower and no longer need it. (I'm going for the same lower "feel" that I have with my Accuracy X Pro Plus). The lower was built by Larry Nelson's son, Kevin, using a Foster frame. I tried it out at Perry last summer as one of their demos and loved it. Paid $1,100 for the lower. The finish matches that of the conversion for a very nice look. No checkering; I use skateboard tape.

Trigger is crisp; breaks at just over 2 lbs. A minor blemishes to the finish (see pics), but functions beautifully. Although pictured so that you can see the finish and final setup, the conversion is NOT included.

$800 including shipping from my FFL to yours in CONUS.

All the best,
Joe

Would also consider trades or trade/cash offers, including a model 41 or aimpoint h-1 2 moa scope

So KC's trigger kit feels like a short roll in that lower? I've been debating whether to trade a new ruger night watchman for something where his trigger kit feels like a medium to long roll. In my gun it feels short. Just fyi I noticed it always feels short with a low trigger pull weight, and feels longer when it gets to 3-3.5lbs

Hey deflorc, the lower can definitely make a difference, or so I'm learning. It was modified to more of a medium roll and functioned as such in my Range Officer, but felt much shorter in the Foster frame. FYI, I just swapped out the sear and now have a nice long roll again; using that trigger in my new Accuracy X lower. Love KC's roll kit.
