Maybe I'm just old , I find I'm doubling when shooting factory hardball and heavy factory loads.
Very disconcerting. It seems my finger is bouncing on recoil.
Suggestions?

i've heard of shooters having that happen. Is it possible to have another shooter use your gun and ammo?

Three

1. Increase grip pressure

2. Increase pull weight on trigger

3. back off screw in trigger if adjustable

Try keeping the trigger depressed after the shot until the recoil has subsided. Then release the trigger for the next shot.

I was trying to shoot some 230 grain ball and beat the gun into submission.

It's not as much a problem with light lead loads, more embarassing than anything .

I might have to give them both a bit more overtravel...

now that I think of it, I've been having issues with early release on my trap guns also.

wonder if they make a 1911 release trigger! haha

Premature Release is not a good thing you might want to talk to your doctor about that.  Don
