Greetings,

Reading an old Gil Hebard catalog, I see Bo-Mar offered a full length rib for the Ruger MKII and a replacement rear sight only using the existing front sight.

Does anyone have one of these?

I would like to see a photo before engaging in my eBay search for one, or both.

Here is an actual little BoMar I got from Gil Hebard.  The instructions said to mill some clearance in the frame under the blade.

The Bomar has a taller blade and deeper notch than does the Volquartsen.  the Volquartsen is good but I like the BoMar better.

Notice the BoMar covers the big takedown pin which needs to be lowered a little. Not much though.  The Volquartsen has been moved forward in addition to the lower blade.

Looks like taller blade and forward mount.  Tall front sight too.
