DR Ammo rule clarification

I'm trying to find out if the rule for DR Ammo:

"Ammunition- Any safe .38 caliber ammunition using the 158 grain round nose or Semi-Wadcutter bullet only. "

..would allow or prohibit the used of .357 cases.  As the rule reads any .38 caliber ammunition rather than any .38 Special ammunition I would tend to think use of .357 cases would be OK but I'm not sure.

I know this topic has come up before but I can't remember what the consensus was.

It does not specify the cartridge.
I've often wondered about .38 Colt, .38 super ( moon clips)
9mm w/clips, .357 Sig, hmm, .380 w/clips and a 158 bullet...

Don't forget the 38 S&W. 

I think the cartridge is spec'd in the firearm.  It states the gun must be capable of clambering the 38 Special with the 158 grain bullet.  So the Super S&W 9mm would be out.

I didn't look, but, if it Chambers a .38 special he's correct.
