WTB Colt Original Equipment 1911 Slide Stop
Should be the traditional high polish blue. Need it for a LNIB Series 70 Gold Cup so should look fairly new but need not be perfect.
Thanks.
PS- You are welcome to the one that my pistol came with; unknown manufacturer but I am sure it is of decent quality. It is a matte finished stop with checkered surface rather than the grooves on the Colt.

I would go with the Ed Brown part . Ed Brown parts are first class .

My 1963 GC stop looks a lot like this one, deep polished blue too.

My 1980 Govt looks similar but the grooves go higher into the upper tab
GC on left, Govt on right

Yes that blued one looks just like the 70 series Gold Cup. I don't think even a Colt collector could tell the difference. I have one I'd give him, but the "peg" portion is a chewed up (I can't remember why).Bubba Blaster wrote:http://www.edbrown.com/product/forged-slide-stop/

I thought I had gotten one from Brownells that was a colt for a series 70 ball gun. My old one became a two piece in the rapid fire stage of a leg match in 2015.
