2 or 4 MOA dot

Which do you shoot best 2 or 4 MOA.  I do most of my shooting indoors @ 20yds and 50 ft but do shoot the SL and the LL maybe twice a month. I am getting ready to buy a Aimpoint 9000SC for my new M41 and presently have a 9000Sc 2 MOA on my Nelson.  Don

For sustained fire I like a 4 moa dot. For slow fire I prefer a 2 but I think that I shoot a 4 better. That is based on my 45 shooting. 

Indoors, you can turn it down, which helps.  But, it is important to remember that a 4 moa dot is only 2 inches at 50 yards and 1 inch at 25 yards. Either can work just fine.

On bright days I use 4 moa and on overcast days two moa.

I have pretty much settled on a 2 MOA dot.  I'm in the process of replacing my Matchdot II(s) with Aimpoints.

4 MOA. Small dots make me try to be perfect. A larger dot and I accept the wobble better.

I like 2 moa dots. I've sold my Matchdot 2's and bought Aimpoint 9000SC 2moa dots, there are really only 3 usable brightness setting, the dot looks larger as the brightness increases so you can crank it up to simulate a larger dot.

+1  I like 8 for timed and rapid.

I like 2 MOA, and to make it larger, just turn the brightness up.  But that is absolutely personal preference.

My choice....4 MOA.

I use either a 8 min or 12 min dot.  Bigger dot less perceived wobble, easier to keep the trigger moving.

Burris FastFire III with 3MOA dot is a happy medium. Works well for both distances.

I have one of those and never liked the control buttons on it or the Fastfire II I have also.  I been using Matchdot II where i can select 4 dot sizes and with my level of BE shooting I can not tell where the 2 or 4 is best so that is why I need some input.  I like the Aimpoint 9000SC that I put on my Nelson a couple of months ago.   Today i tried the the 4 MOA again on the Matchdot and to me it feels like I am not shooting at the X ring jusy the black.  I get the same feeling with irons and a sub 6 hold.  Good shots are going where they should and on call which is all I should ask for, but brought up as a kid shoot rifles with scopes I feel like I need to aim at the X not the black.  As usual I am probably over thinking this as I do with most things.  I guess it is not what dot size should work best but what one likes.  I thank everyone for their input. Thanks Dave that could answer which to buy, but should have been followed up with a poll asking the people if they often wish they had bought a different size.  Think I will get a 4 MOA this time as the poll shows if I should want to sell it and get the 2 MOA more people will want it.  Don
