SOLD Eulette Custom 1966 Colt NM 45 Pistol

Post by Jon Eulette on 11/7/2017, 10:55 am

For Sale: Being Built Now!

I'm building a 1966 Colt National Match 45 acp pistol. KKM Precision barrel with minimum dimension chamber and custom lead. With input from Jerry Keefer I had a finish reamer made to my specifications. Designed to shoot lswc and will shoot jacketed as well. Rear of slide will be serrated 40 lpi. Pistol will be setup to run reduced loads for short line; 3.4 gr BE with either 185 or 200 lswc. Will include scope mount for either FF3 or Aimpoint Micro (will require removing rear sight) your choice. So no holes are drilled into the forward portion of the slide. For those of you that do not know the NM slides were lightened at the factory by Colt. This pistol will be a dream to shoot as a scoped wadgun or EIC pistol with soft 185 jhp loads. Pistol will be freshly blued with polished flats and matte rounds. Comes with 2 tuned Colt magazines. Trigger job to order: crisp, short roll, etc.

$3600 shipped to your FFL.

Ahh, wish I could afford it. Just yesterday I gave away about 500 rounds of 3.6gr BE behind 200gr LSWC bullet because they won't cycle my gun...
Jon, sorry for a potentially stupid question, but does it mean one lucky owner would have to change recoil springs between long and short lines?

If you shot really hot LL loads yes you should change the spring. Assuming now that 4.0 gr LL and 3.4 SL will use same recoil spring.
