Jerry Keefer

Post by kc.crawford.7 on 11/21/2017, 2:32 pm

Folks it is with a very heavy heart that I have news on Jerry.  He passed away today 21 November at 1400 Eastern time.  There are to be no services.  He's no longer in pain.

Some people are remembered for what they made.  Some people are remembered for what they said.  Some people are remembered for what they did.

Jerry will be remembered for all of these, but he will be missed because he was our friend.

We are diminished by his passing, we will be sustained by his memory.

We lost one of the best.  He was a true gentlemen, ambassador and amazing mechanic/machinist.
We'd all do better to promote the sport if we did a fraction of what Jerry did.
He was a pleasure to stand next to during my short time in VA.
Jerry, fair winds and following seas shipmate.

Does anyone know if there is a way/place to donate money or send flowers?

So sorry to hear of it. An incredible machinist & craftsman with a wealth of knowledge he would share.  Prayers out to his family and close friends for comfort.

As Jeff Cooper stated on too many occasions, "We are truly diminished"

This area of the forum is not a place I visit often. It's always sad when we loose a fellow member and shooter and even more so when it's someone that was so helpful to so many members and shooter. Jerry will surely be missed!
