FS 45 ACP Brass

Post by Lamar H on Mon Nov 27, 2017 5:02 pm

I have about 5,600 pieces of federal for sale if anyone needs some.
It is as fired {not processed} by me that I purchased from other Bullseye
shooters over the years.
I can put 2.000 in a flat rate box. Also have several hundred Winchester & Starline.
I would like $40.00 plus flat rate shipping If this seems fair?
PM me if interested.

Thanks

Ian,
That is an interesting observation about the aggregate record.  Herschel Anderson set that 2680 record in 1974 USING IRON SIGHT PISTOLS!  John Zurek set the civilian record of 2679 in 2012 using optics.  I suggest you also consider that the winning score for the National Trophy Individual (NTI) from 1955 through the 1980s were generally in the 290s using AS-ISSUED .45 acp 230gr JHB ammo.  In fact, my first EIC was fired at Ft. Benning.  My 280-5x DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE CUT!  NO POINTS!  And there were over 150 of us on the line.  CMP eventually began allowing "any safe ammo" which results in powder-puff loads being shot by some competitors.  My point supports yours, equipment/ammo changes don't necessarily result in improved scores.
