Nighthawk 22 conversion on Davis Sams frame

Post by tomv36 on Tue Nov 28, 2017 3:05 pm

Less than 500 rounds through this gun. I built it for Bullseye but have since started to shoot a Pardini so it's just sitting on my safe. The frame was built by Dave Sams from Caspian parts. Crisp 2.5# trigger pull and beautiful workmanship. The gun includes a scope rib, adjustatble iron sight rib with gold bead front sight, 6 magazines and the Nigthawk pouch.

I have about $2200.00 invested in this and waited 6 months for the frame from Dave. Asking $1750 plus delivery to your FFL.

I believe Nighthawk was the first seller of Bob Marvels design we now call Nelson.

I believe Nelson was providing units to Nighthawk!

That could be Jon.  I had a Nighthawk.  Talking with Bob Marvel, he said talk to Larry Nelson for parts and stuff.

Nighthawk 22 conversion on Davis Sams frame

Larry Nelson did build all of the Nighthawk conversions. Sams only built the lower on this gun (which cost me $1340.00). The conversion is original. Dave did assemble the gun and tune the mags. 100% reliable so far.

I do know the Nelson barrel will go right into a Nighthawk
