S&W 41 Shooting High / Rear Sight Blade

Post by MangoBango on Sun Jan 28, 2018 11:57 am

I have a 1958 model 41 that shoots high, even though the rear sight is bottomed out. Has anyone dealt with this before? I do not think it is the shooter Smile and nothing appears to be damaged etc..

The only thing I can think to do now is modify the rear sight blade but I can’t say I am excited to do that.

Is the model 41 sight blade removal the same as this video (for revolver)?

Also, would a new sight blade work on an old model 41?

Thank you

Thank you. There are a few more things I can check / try on that thread.
