WTB Smith & Wesson 17 or K22 FOUND

Post by Dcforman on 3/22/2018, 3:42 pm

Looking for a shooter grade K22 or Pinned barrel 17. Target trigger and hammer would be nice, but that might put it out of my price range. Anyone got something they want to see go to someone who will enjoy and take care of it?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Simpsons Ltd generally has a number of them listed. A little pricey, maybe.

I have a very nice 17-4 and a 17-2 LNIB. I will post pictures later tonight. $700 shipped to FFL. I have a 17-2 new in box for $750 LNIB box shipped.

Probably re-blued but I wouldn't care if it looked this nice at that price. $650.00 BIN.  NFI

Yeah, that's on my watch list. I didn't notice it had a target trigger until I looked at it again. The reason I posted here is I'm a little leary about buying a used gun unseen from an unknown seller. I thought it might be safer purchasing from someone here, as so far the character of the members of this forum has been unassailable. Perhaps with these older Smiths it's not that big a deal? As in, if they look good, they'll shoot good?

Mine is not a thing of beauty but it still shoots good. Laughing Hard to find an older Smith that doesn't.

Hey Lex!

Thanks for posting. Really trying to stay under $600. Look like beautiful guns, though.

Ended up with a Colt OMM in 38. A little different than what was originally posted. Thanks all for bearing with me.
