You Know what is Handy...

Post by watercam on 6/18/2018, 1:43 pm

...having an retired Army Sniper/All Guard/40 year High Power Rifle and Pistol vet who still loves to shoot and help those of us who so need it.
Not only that but his father kicked ass as an all around shooter in the Army and Guard (including Machine Gun Matches) for about the same period of time. The two of them took time at 7am before a Long Range Match to tweak my pistol position and made an immediate improvement on my targets.
Gotta love those who give back!

Yes, helpful people at a match are awesome!  Way to go if you're one of them!  You have a way to go if you're not!  Laughing

at my first Vintage Springfield Match at Perry, my scorer was a High Master,

hell of a nice guy, I think learned more in one match than I had the prior year

Here's one...

I'm currently "borrowing" (with an intent to possibly purchase) a pair of Custom Shop Springfields (45 Wad and a Marvel Conversion) from a local high master who can't shoot as he used to.

I have met him exactly 2 times.

I hope to pay it forward myself one day.
