If it was a 5.5 inch barrel I would be all over it.  I have owned a 7.5 inch and found it just to much to handle.

I prefer the longer barrel for 3 reasons: longer sight radius and better balance and less barrel flip for rapid fire.

Looks like a real good HS.

I have shot both the 7.25 fluted and the 5.5 bull barrels.  It takes a little more strength the hold the 7.25.  The longer sight radius does help though.  A better HS barrel with the long sights is the tapered Tournament, or the short space barrel.

Does anyone know of a good gunsmith for High Standard pistols.  I have a Victor but, when I mounted a red dot sight the cases keep getting trapped in ejection port.

Maybe you need to re-shape the ejector to achieve an angle more towards 3:00.
