A couple of questions
A couple of questions
I have an old High Standard 22, someone put an adjustable rear sight on the slide. The only marking on it is "Micro" Anyone know this sight or know what style dovetail cut is on these slides ?
Next question, the same person also added the wood checkered grips with the thumb rest. Anyone know who makes these or if they are available ?

Re: A couple of questions
which model High Standard?
some had dovetails on the slide, some had the bridge sight
Micro's are a good sight, tho I am not sure if they made models with different sizes of dovetails,
as far as the grips, pics would help,
Herrett's made them and Sile too , I think (not sure on that one, )
and they were also factory on some models

I think these are High Standard parts that were added to this Model 103 Sport King as upgrades.
I could maybe find a Kensight if I knew the type of dovetail.

I could be interested in a whole gun if someone has an old Hamden laying around collecting dust.

John Stimson Jr. is an authority when it comes to anything HS. I've communicated with him few years ago, and he's very communicative and ready to help. Very nice person!!

Re: A couple of questions
That looks to be a Model 103 Sport King. Maybe 102. The eagle logo on the barrel dates it earlier than the trigger logo on the grip.
Micro sights were an upgrade sometimes seen. There is a chance the dovetail is still cut original. Comparing your picture to a 103 slide I have, it looks near the same.
The grips are not original to the gun, they are later made but original Connecticut grips usually found on 104 Citations. Originals were probably brown plastic bakelite? with maybe an eagle logo. I'd love to have those grips.
Is the barrel still a tapered Sport King or has it been changed to a bull?
Here is a 104 Citation

for the 1911,
may want to compare the dovetail?
micro (miniture machine co) still exists, but does not make those models anylonger (going by the website)
also, did you try ebay?

Micro Gunsight ompany was different than MMC. Micro is out of business by about 2000 or so.
