First topic message reminder :

I have a lee 6 cavity mold.  I cast my first batch of bullets.  After checking a few with a micrometer and weighing several more, I believe that my mold isn't machined perfectly round.  If you have a mold, particularly the Lee H&G 68 clone, did you lap it?  Did that help?  How much?

look at the Hi-tek coatings... they work perfectly and have a long positive history.

also try 45-45-10 for you alox coatings..

the best sizer you can get is one of the Magna/ Star units.. older stars are still going strong after many years.

For tumble lube a lot of people are using "Ben's liquid lube" instead of the old 45/45/10. The version I use has Alox, Johnson's liquid wax and some MS. Much easier than having to heat the stuff.

I also recommend the Lee push through sizers. I have no intention of ever buying a classic lube sizer.

I also recommend Bens liquid lube. You can find the recipe on the cast bullit forum. Easy to make and use. If you need to size, the push through Lee sizers work perfectly.
