WTB: ROCO Masters

Post by DA/SA on 11/13/2018, 12:03 pm

I'd like to try some ROCO Masters in XL on my 1911 to see how they work for me.

Please let me know if you have any that you may not have a use for and would like to sell.

Thank You!

If you can't find what you're looking for, I can help.  I 3d print custom target pistol grips and would be happy to make a wood composite custom-sized pair of grips in that particular shape for you.  You can search this site and TargetTalk for lots of positive reviews of my work.

Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew, can you duplicate the "Roper" grip for K or N frame?

Thanks for the kind words about my work.  Yes, if you've got a grip shape you like and would like it copied for another gun, I can do that.  Whether it is for the same model or requires a little digital cosmetic surgery to fit on something else, let me know.  Please note, the copy and reproduce method I use does not do justice to replicating a beautiful hand-checkered finish on a fine piece of walnut.  If that's what you're after, I'm not your guy.  However if it is the shape, size and feel you want, that I can do.  My website (precisiontargetpistolgrips.com) has lots of examples of my work.  And if you don't see something there like what you're after, please let me know and we'll talk about options.

Thanks again,
Andrew

Andrew, Did you ever make a pair like the RoCo Master grips? I also want to try a pair but RoCo appears to be going out of business. I contacted them today and was informed they are out of stock and will never be in stock again. Nills and Sig Sauer make a set very similar and the Sig were selling like hot cakes on Ebay for awhile. Now they are scarce also. I need a couple more if I can find them.

Len

They look like this.

Keith Brown can make anything out of any wood you like. His work is spectacular. And worth every penny.

Having had Roper,Sanderson,Kersage grips, I can say that Keith's work is better then theirs.

There's plenty of examples of his work on the S&W Forum.

Len,

Yes, I do make that grip shape for all sorts of guns, both with and without finger grooves.  For your rather exceptionally large hand I'd suggest stretching it top to bottom and probably also putting an arching cutout at the bottom on the offhand side to better facilitate magazine access.  And because you've already bought one of my grips, you can order one of these via the Repeat Customer grip discount on my website.  Let me know if I can build one for you or if you have any other questions.

All best,
Andrew

Just so were clear. If they don't fit your hand then just get out the file, some sand paper and wood putty.
