Hämmerli X-Esse IPSC spare parts
Because this pistol isn't very popular in the States I am looking to stock up on a few parts just in case something happens. I am curious what parts you guys think I would benefit from buying now and having in my spare parts box. I planned to get a couple firing pins and recoil springs just to be safe.

We own two trailsides. I have all the internal parts and a new slide. I dont think the pistol will go away any time soon but other than a firing pin I'd keep spare
Recoil and main springs.
All.safety parts
All.slide stop parts.
What we are going to miss are.the specialty parts Larrys had. Hopefully someone will pick them up.

I'm glad I bought a spare trigger guard. Wish I had gotten a firing pin.

The trigger guard on mine is all metal. My buddy called Walther on Friday and they said they can get any part that you need. You just have to call with the right part number.

Re: Hämmerli X-Esse IPSC spare parts
I called Walther USA this morning for a part for my wife's X-esse, she uses it to shoot steel. The trigger bar broke during a match this past Saturday.
Nothing could have been easier than this purchase. I spoke to Marcus gave him the part number and for less than $20 it is on its way.
I wish that it was so easy to find Benelli parts.
Thanks for the posting, it pointed me in the right direction.

David, was it the trigger guard that broke... pretty common if so.. the key to having them last is the recoil lug that stops the slide must be fitted to be flush against it's backstop so it does not take the full blunt of the slide standing alone. Lots of info on this out there but two ways are bending the guard or filing on the fore piece in front of the lug to allow it to go further up and back.. also seen folks add a shim on the backside of the lug via silver solder
