Ruger MK series triggers
I like shooting my Ruger mark II and III but the trigger break is just too far back for my liking.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket trigger or built up trigger shoe that would move the break further forward?

Re: Ruger MK series triggers
For the Ruger MK III and IV, I suggest trying the Majestic Arms Gold Standard trigger. Pre and post travel adjustments,
and the trigger itself can be positioned forward/backward.
Trigger fits in receiver nicely, no shims needed to eliminate side-to-side
play.
Didn’t think I would like a flat-faced trigger but it works! NFI

A lot of folks will use trigger kits from https://volquartsen.comexpendable wrote:I like shooting my Ruger mark II and III but the trigger break is just too far back for my liking.

Re: Ruger MK series triggers
I don't remember what the break was like in my stock MkII but I remember not liking it. The new break is really good despite the weird trigger shape. Full Volquartsen trigger setup, minus the new detent spring to keep the trigger weight CMP legal.
I'd be willing to entertain the Majestic Arms trigger if I had to do it again, but I'm happy with my VQ kit.
Install WILL take some time though, but isn't particularly challenging, just time consuming.

I have volquartsen sears in the guns and I’m ok with the feel of the trigger, I just don’t care for how far back the break is.
I like the idea of the Majestic trigger but that color.
I know I know, I’m picky.
