Selling this since I now have an 10E.  Great gun and wonderful way to practice timed and rapid during the cold months.  The two cylinders are dated 2010/08 and 2008/08.  Comes with two 5 shot strips and one single.  $1500.  Prefer PayPal FF but am open to MO, etc...

With the dates on those cylinders I think you’re gonna have trouble selling.  Might plan accordingly

With those dates all it means is that they can’t be used in competition. These dates were applied by edict from the EU as these things are pressurized gas vessels. I’d be far more concerned with the actual number of cycles rather than an artificial date limit. If it concerns you fill them halfway.

I've shot in many USAS approved matches with cylinder dates from 1990. If you plan on attending Olympic trials get a proper cylinder. If a person has the goal of making the Olympic team they will have current cylinders and they won't be buying a LP50 in the first place. Can't understand how people don't see the differences.

It’s your money. Spend it how you want. I know some won’t buy because of outdated cylinders.

I’m sure the dates are on the damn things for a reason

My lp10 has 20 year old cylinders that work just fine. The dates are only for the competitions that check dates on cylinders. These cylinders will last for many more years

Ohhh, that’s it.  The dates are only for competitions.  And here I thought they were dated because it’s a high pressure tank that has a life span..like scuba tanks welding tanks etc.

Btw Kyle. Why again did you get that Lp10 for such a great price?  Oh I remember what you said.  Because the tanks were expired!  lol!

Yes I got my lp10 for $500 but I'm still using both cylinders because they work fine. I also purchased a new one ahead of time just in case but I have not even filled it yet. All I'm saying is that the cylinders are fine to use. Lets not clutter this guys for sale post

The reason scuba tanks and other pressure vessels have dates in them is to force inspections at intervals. If the bottle passes inspection it can continue to be used and is restamped with a new inspection date. Cylinders don’t “expire” as there are some still floating around since The 1960s.

These air gun cylinders have to be stamped with a date by EU law. But no manufacturer has set up an inspection service, at least not in the USA. So we get to replace them. Chances are they are still very serviceable.
