How to tell bullet specs

I bought a .45 acp bullseye gun make be Ross Carter (from this website). It came with about ten rounds that were made by the previous owner who loaded his own rounds. He was well thought of in the community and was a good bullseye shooter. However, no one seems to know exactly how the bullets were configured. Is there a way for someone to find out exactly how they were made?

evaluate, but don't guess. load your own. Many great recipes out there.

Not in a situation where I can load my own. Trying to see what has worked and then try to find something close in a commercial bullet or maybe from a reloader.
