Clark Left Hand Grip Mount for 1911 Empty Clark Left Hand Grip Mount for 1911

No markings on it that I can find, but read the posts below.  It looks like a prior owner ground down the base about 1/16" (where the blueing taken off).  I do have the 2 extra screws that go with it.  $30 plus shipping.

I've never seen one that mounted to the left side before.  Interesting.

Aimtech, maybe?

NPC grip mounts also mounted on the left, but were shaped differently.

Every aimtech I've seen mounts on the right side.

That’s definitely a Clark grip mount. It has two extra holes for drilling and tapping the frame and using additional screws. Because the top of the mount has been modified it’s possible that the Clark name came off when they did that.

Jon is right; definitely a Clark.  Note that if you use the two extra screws, the holes are covered by normal grip panels.  So when you move away from this mount to something else there are no obvious external blemishes on the gun.
