Removed from Sale: S&W 41 Empty Removed from Sale: S&W 41

Post by ttyndall on Fri Jun 05, 2020 1:46 pm

Have to meet with the Surgeon in the morning so am taking the S&W off the market immediately.

The S&W is reduced to $1,300. Rotator Cuff Surgery is next Friday. Need to sell before then. If not sold by the 8th I will take take it off the market on the 8th. There are 4 mags.

I am pulling the 9mm David Sams off the market and giving it to my Daughter. I appreciate everyone looking at it. I am going to mark it SOLD so no one will think it is available. Thank You.
I wanted to add a note that I lowered the price on both guns and will have another post with 2 guns. I am waiting on a call to schedule Rotator Cuff Surgery (unfortunately on the same shoulder from 3 years ago). I know I will be in a sling for 6 to 8 weeks and therapy for 3 to 4 months and still months later to heal. My intent is put the guns up for sale while I am mobile and approximately 2 days before surgery remove any guns that have not sold from being available.
Just wanted to let everyone know my intent so if they see them pulled from the market in a couple or few weeks that is the reason.

I have two guns in Like New Condition. I'll describe the guns and post pictures at the bottom. Prices include shipping to your FFL.
My name is Ted Tyndall and live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (South end of Jacksonville Beach).
Prefer funds to be on a bank money order from a bank that has a branch in Jacksonville or St. Augustine Florida.
Please PM for additional questions or specs.
SW 41 special ordered from Clarks: $1,550
SOLD: 9mm Special Ordered from David Sams: $3,150

1. Smith and Wesson 41 special ordered from Clarks Custom Guns. Clark showcased it on their Facebook page for a while. I shot one
box of ammo and put it in an air conditioned locked closed on an open pistol rack. It came with two mags and I ordered 2
extra at the time of purchase.
It has a 6.5" barrel with an Aristocrat Rib. Clarks went through the gun and tuned and polished everything including a trigger
job. It came with a test target of 10 shots at 50 yards inside 1".
I have the original case, all the paperwork including paid invoice with the specs of what they did. I also have the test target.
For the person buying it I will supply the invoice. I don't want to post it with my personal info on it.

2. 9mm Special ordered from David Sams. Was on a waiting list for 18 months and then 6 more to receive it. The detail
page he sent is too long to post.
Anyone that is serious I will send them a copy of the order and invoice page which list everything he used to build the gun.
I took it to the range and shot approximately 20 shells through it and put it on the shelf next to the S&W 41. neither have
been out of the Gun Closet since and never been in a holster. David Sam gave a guarantee when I ordered it that it would shoot
10 shots from a rest at 50 yards in less than one inch. He said he would not ship it if it did not accomplish that. I have his test
target with 10 shots smaller than an inch and his initials on it.

First pictures are the Smith and Wesson 41.

Removed from Sale: S&W 41 Empty Update

Post by ttyndall on Mon Jun 08, 2020 9:41 am

I wanted to make a separate comment about the above post. I not only changed the price but added a comment about the unsold items being removed from sale because of upcoming surgery. Did not want at that time to pull the items and someone that may be interested not knowing I was going to do that. Once I get my surgery date I will make an entry to give everyone a more exact time period.
Thanks for looking.

I am marking the David Sams 9mm SOLD. I decided to give it to my Daughter but marked it sold to make sure everyone knew it was not available.
Thanks for looking.
The SW 41 is still available.

Steve, if you definitely want it say that in the post. One of the rules. I don't want to be a stickler but to someone else saying very interested is not the same as Sold, I will take it.
Then send me your email address or a PM and I will go over any details with you in an email.
